The Coke Bottle Celebrates Its 100th Birthday
Everyone agrees — Coke out of a bottle tastes better than out of a can. If you were in this camp, you’ll be happy to know that the iconic Coke Bottle turns 100 this year, originally manufactured in Indiana from 1915. To commemorate such a monumental achievement, Coca-Cola are publishing a new book, producing a new anthem, and holding a series of art exhibitions across 14 countries that will highlight the evolution and artwork behind the instantly recognizable bottle during a year-long campaign. In addition, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia will showcase two new Andy Warhol paintings of the bottle for the first time ever, along with numerous other exhibits such as prototypes, sketches, photographs and more.
