This week on Ebay : B10 jacket...

"US Army Air Force Type B-10 jacket, identified to "G.J. HUNTER" on the leather nametag, together with his postwar 43rd Bombardment Group Association identification badge and reunion patch for the 64th Bombardment Squadron. Jacket has 5th AAF insignia painted on the right chest of the jacket, and a rare, early version of the 64th Bombardment Squadron insignia painted on the left chest area. Both tape to approximately 5 inches in diameter. Remnants of the "Army Air Force" printed shoulder patch remain on the left shoulder; a great CBI painted patch is on the right - see photo. jacket is in remarkably good condition; "fur" collar is intact and shows minimal wear, knit cuffs and waist band are original with no fraying or holes, and jacket has original/functional "CONAN" zipper. Lining is all intact. Only significant mar are two spots on the back of the right sleeve, between the elbow and wrist, showing as brown spots in my photos. "Spots" are semi-stiff, as if he spilled something caustic in these areas. Otherwise, jacket shows minimal wear. Came in with Hunter's postwar items as shown in last photos - nametag and commonly seen 64th Bomb Squadron patch from a reunion. GREAT, early WWII AAF jacket with rarely seen painted patches"
